MICSIA held The Annual General Member Meeting successfully

Macau International Cultural and Sports Industries Association (MICSIA) held "The Annual General Member Meeting” successfully. The meeting mainly revolved around the election of new members of the board of directors and supervisory board, reviews of the achievement and announcement of future plans.


Ms. Patricia Cheong, president of MICSIA, stated that since its establishment in 2018, the association has been adhering to the original intention of building a business exchange platform for the development of Macau's cultural and sports industries. Taking full advantage of Macau’s positioning of the Greater Bay Area, the association actively gathered local and foreign cultural and sports industry elites to create branded cultural, artistic and sports events, and further radiate to the Greater Bay Area. “ArtBiz Asia”, the international art forum that the Association focused on, the event aims to spark a conversation between integrated resort decision-makers, local and regional art experts to discuss the importance of art and culture in the multifaceted development of integrated resorts and tourism industry, as well as the wider impact on various travel destinations in Asia. Besides, for the new establishment of the executive committee, more elites from the cultural, art and sports industries are invited, accelerating the association’s development and contributing to the future development of the cultural and sports industry in Macau and China.


Ms. Bonnie Pun, Chairlady of the Board of Directors, reviewed the achievement of MICSIA for the previous three years. “ArtBiz Asia”, “Macau 20th Anniversary Celebration Tennis Charity Event” and “Greater Bay Area Tennis Event” were successfully held. In the future, the association will continue to focus on extending network of cultural, sports industry in the region, as well as the development of the members of the association.


Ms. May Su, Chairlady of the Board of Supervisors, affirmed the achievement of the association and recognised the hard work of the committee. She encouraged the association to continue evolving in the future and jointly promote the overall development and industrial upgrade of the cultural and sports industries in Macau and the region.
